Repair And Maintenance Information
- It is recommended for the user to check the tyre pressure in all the tyres visually or by judging the sound before any trip.
- Turn ON the power key and pay attention to some knocking sound coming from the PDU and the instrument cluster will turn ON. If MIL is not shown on the instrument cluster, the vehicle may be OK. If the vehicle starts without problems, released the handbrake to drive the vehicle by changing the ‘NDR’ position to ‘D’ or ‘R’ respectively.
- On the instrument cluster, check the main battery SOC level in (%), if the level shows one bar mark with RED color means that the main battery SOC level is below 20%, it is advisable to charge the battery up to ≤ 100 % SOC and then go for a trip
- If a knocking sound does not come from PDU, immediately turn OFF the power key. Make sure the NDR switch is in the “N” position while turning ON the power key. If the NDR switch is in the “R” or “D” position, change it to “N” and repeat step 2, if still, the issue persists follow the steps below
- Check and inspect visually all the fuses inside the fuse box and test the continuity of all with the help of a multimeter, if any fuse is blown, replace the blown fuse with a same rating new fuse. Ensure that it has a tight connection, and repeat step 2, if still, the issue persists follow the steps below
- Check the auxiliary battery voltage and its connection with the help of a multimeter, the connection should be tightened and the battery voltage should be ≥ 10 volts and ≤ 14 volts. Repeat step 2, if still, the issue persists follow the steps below
- Follow the below table for necessary action according to its voltage.
Sr. no Auxiliary battery voltage Action 1. 9≤ VDC ≤11 Need to Charge fully 2. VDC < 9 Replace the auxiliary battery (same rating) - Never disconnect the 12-volt auxiliary battery from the vehicle without prior permission from the authorized AGPL support team
- Check the continuity of all fuses at the rear end In-line fuse box in the Vehicle. If any fuse is blown, replace the blown fuse with a same rating new fuse. Also, Check the Working of the DC-DC Converter by following the steps below:
- Check the DC Voltage of the auxiliary battery at fuse no 7 & ground (Power Key is in OFF condition)
- Check if the voltage is increased or not by turning ON the power keyIf DC voltage is increased then DC-DC is working fine if not, then go for further diagnosis with the help of the AGPL-authorized service team.
- Repeat step 2, if still found issue visit the nearest AGPL-authorised service centre and contact the AGPL support team for further diagnosis.
